Elizabeth Harper

Elizabeth Harper was born and raised in the Kansas City Metro and graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 2013. During college, Elizabeth’s love for her community and advocating for those less fortunate grew.
She spent much of her time supporting literacy programs for children, an experience that strengthened her appreciation for community connection and lifelong learning.
Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth worked with Jackson County Children’s Division and Shawnee County Department for Children and Families where she investigated reports of child abuse and neglect. While working with DCF and Children’s Division, Elizabeth learned how important it is to understand each person’s story, to search for the facts.
Now, Elizabeth uses that same care to help families and individuals navigate life’s transitions and some of the most difficult situations they will ever have to face.
Elizabeth earned her law degree from KU, where she gained practical experience through the Legal Aid Clinic representing clients in a variety of matters. Those experiences shaped her empathetic, client-centered approach, which she now brings to her work in family law, helping individuals and families move forward with confidence and dignity.
Elizabeth enjoys spending her free time browsing estate sales, reading, and crocheting. On Saturdays, she is often found cuddling her two dachshunds and cat while watching college football.
